Finding your own happiness to get more freedom life.

Many people struggle with finding happiness in their lives. They feel trapped by their circumstances, their obligations, their expectations, and their fears. They may have a job they hate, a relationship they are unhappy with, a family they don’t get along with, or a lifestyle they can’t afford. They may feel stressed, anxious, depressed, or bored. They may wonder if this is all there is to life, and if they will ever find true happiness.

But what if I told you that happiness is not something that you have to chase, or depend on external factors for? What if I told you that happiness is something that you can create for yourself, by yourself? What if I told you that finding your own happiness is the key to living a more freedom life?

In this blog post, I will share with you some tips and strategies on how to find your own happiness, and how this will help you achieve more freedom in your life. Freedom to pursue your passions, to express yourself, to make your own choices, to grow and learn, and to enjoy every moment of your existence.

Finding your own happiness to get more freedom life.

Tip #1: Define what happiness means to you.

Happiness is not a one-size-fits-all concept. It is a subjective and personal experience that varies from person to person. What makes one person happy may not make another person happy. Therefore, the first step to finding your own happiness is to define what happiness means to you.

Think about what makes you feel alive, joyful, fulfilled, and satisfied. Think about what gives you a sense of purpose, meaning, and value. Think about what brings you peace, harmony, and balance. These are the things that constitute your happiness.

Write down your definition of happiness in a journal or a notebook. Be as specific and detailed as possible. For example, instead of writing “I want to be happy”, write “I want to be happy by spending more time with my friends, by traveling to new places, by learning new skills, by helping others, etc.”.

Tip #2: Identify and eliminate the sources of unhappiness in your life.

Once you have defined what happiness means to you, the next step is to identify and eliminate the sources of unhappiness in your life. These are the things that drain your energy, lower your vibration, and prevent you from achieving your happiness goals.

Some common sources of unhappiness are:

  • Negative thoughts and emotions
  • Toxic relationships
  • Unhealthy habits
  • Lack of self-care
  • Unresolved issues
  • Unrealistic expectations
  • Comparing yourself to others
  • Living in the past or the future

Make a list of all the sources of unhappiness in your life. Be honest and objective with yourself. Then, for each source of unhappiness, ask yourself:

  • How does this affect my happiness?
  • How can I change or eliminate this?
  • What action can I take right now?

For example, if one of your sources of unhappiness is negative thoughts and emotions, you can ask yourself:

  • How does this affect my happiness? It makes me feel sad, angry, fearful, guilty, etc. It lowers my self-esteem and confidence. It blocks me from seeing the positive aspects of my life.
  • How can I change or eliminate this? I can change my negative thoughts and emotions by practicing positive affirmations, gratitude, meditation, etc. I can eliminate them by avoiding triggers such as watching the news, scrolling through social media, etc.
  • What action can I take right now? I can write down 10 positive affirmations and repeat them every morning and night. I can write down 3 things I am grateful for every day. I can meditate for 10 minutes every day.

Tip #3: Do more of what makes you happy.

Finding your own happiness to get more freedom life.

The final step to finding your own happiness is to do more of what makes you happy. This is where you put your definition of happiness into action. This is where you create your own happiness by engaging in activities that bring you joy, fulfillment,
satisfaction,
and meaning.

Make a list of all the things that make you happy according to your definition of happiness. Then prioritize them according to their importance and feasibility. For example,

  • Spending more time with my friends (high importance/high feasibility)
  • Traveling to new places (high importance/low feasibility)
  • Learning new skills (medium importance/medium feasibility)
  • Helping others (low importance/high feasibility)

Then schedule these activities into your daily or weekly routine. Make sure you allocate enough time and resources for them. Make sure you commit to them and follow through with them. Make sure you enjoy them fully and mindfully.

For example,

  • Spending more time with my friends: I will call or text one friend every day. I will invite one friend for coffee or lunch every week. I will organize a group outing or activity every month.
  • Traveling to new places: I will save up money for a trip every year. I will research and plan my destination and itinerary in advance. I will explore and experience the culture, cuisine, and attractions of the place.
  • Learning new skills: I will enroll in an online course or a workshop every month. I will practice and apply the skills I learn every day. I will share and showcase my skills with others.
  • Helping others: I will volunteer for a cause or an organization that I care about every week. I will donate money or goods to a charity or a person in need every month. I will offer my help or support to someone who needs it every day.

By doing more of what makes you happy, you will not only increase your happiness level, but also your freedom level. You will feel more free to express yourself, to pursue your passions, to make your own choices, to grow and learn, and to enjoy every moment of your existence.

Finding your own happiness is not a difficult or impossible task. It is a simple and achievable one. All you need to do is to define what happiness means to you, identify and eliminate the sources of unhappiness in your life, and do more of what makes you happy. By following these tips and strategies, you will be able to create your own happiness, and live a more freedom life.
